Our Partners →Who we are
NSN Red Leopards Basketball Academy CIC is a community-rooted youth development organisation based in East London. We use basketball as a powerful entry point to deliver structured progression pathways — building confidence, leadership, and long-term life outcomes for young people from diverse and often underserved communities.
We run weekly structured sessions in partnership with Future Youth Zone, engaging 15–20 young people per session and over 70 to date.
Our two programme strands serve different stages of the journey. Under 18s develop foundational skills, teamwork, and character. Young Adults (19+) step into leadership by earning coaching qualifications, taking on paid roles, and becoming the next generation of role models in their community.

Working with Future Youth Zone — supporting a community of 3,400+ young people — and Petraher BC in Valencia to develop players for higher-level competition and create professional pathways internationally.
What we do

A 19-year-old Future Youth Zone member joined our summer basketball camp, delivered in partnership with NSN Red Leopards, Future Youth Zone and Petraher BC of Valencia, Spain.
Following the programme, he was one of four young players identified for an international basketball development pathway in Spain. He has since taken up the opportunity and joined a year-long development programme in Valencia, combining intensive individual development, team training and competitive basketball within the Spanish league system.
The pathway gives talented young players the opportunity to develop within a professional basketball environment, compete at a higher level and gain exposure to potential future opportunities in professional basketball and US collegiate basketball.
While four players were identified as eligible for the pathway, funding limitations meant that only one was able to take up the opportunity.
